Presso-Massage — pneumatic compression massage in warm studio lightingcr
Vigor Activation

Presso-compression massage for a feeling of lightness in the body.

Movement does not begin with exercise. It begins the moment your body feels light again.

A rhythmic alternation of pressure and release — for a clear, light physical sensation and legs that feel supple once more.

The modern body

There are days when the body feels heavy — even though we’ve hardly moved.

Hours spent at a desk.
Long journeys. Flights.
Back-to-back appointments.

And at some point, the feeling of lightness disappears — not suddenly, but very slowly.

Not because we lack strength. But because our everyday lives now involve hardly any natural movement. Vigor therefore sees activation not as an effort, but as a reminder: the body knows its own rhythm — sometimes it just needs the prompt to pick it up again.

What is Presso-Massage?

An alert body, a light step.

During the Presso massage, special cuffs are applied to the legs, thighs or hips. A device sequentially builds up and releases air pressure. The rhythm follows a precise pattern: from the ankles upwards, segment by segment, in a wave-like motion.

You feel the rhythm straight away: enveloping, releasing, wave after wave — particularly pleasant for those with sedentary jobs, after long days of travelling or as part of a body routine. What remains, many describe as a lighter, clearer sense of the body and a moment of calm.

Every body responds differently — yet one impression is shared by many:

  • Lighter, more energised legs — especially after long hours of standing or sitting.
  • A clearer sense of the body.
  • The feeling of being back in motion.
  • A moment of deep tranquillity — a time when there is nothing to do.
Notes

When a Presso massage is suitable — and when it isn’t.

Well suited
  • After long hours on your feet or after travelling
  • As part of a regular body care routine
  • In combination with whole-body cryotherapy
  • Before special occasions — as a conscious preparation
Not suitable
  • In the event of acute vascular disorders or suspected thrombosis
  • In the case of acute skin infections or open wounds
  • In cases of heart failure or severe cardiovascular diseases
  • If you are pregnant — please consult your doctor beforehand
  • In cases of unexplained leg oedema without medical assessment
Three formats

Used on their own or in combination.

The Presso massage is effective on its own — focusing on the legs. Depending on the objective, it can be extended to the whole body or combined with a nourishing active-ingredient wrap.

Format 01

Presso-massage · Lightness

50 minutes · Legs

When your legs come back to life. A rising rhythm of pressure that envelops and then releases the legs, zone by zone — after long hours of standing or sitting, a feeling of lightness returns.

  • Arrival — positioning, the cuffs are adjusted
  • 40 minutes of gradually increasing pressure — zone by zone, working upwards from the feet
  • After-effects — a glass of water, a few quiet minutes
Format 02

Presso-massage · Flow

50 minutes · Legs · Stomach · Arms

The rhythm of lightness. A harmonious flow of pressure that envelops the body with gentle, rhythmic precision. Rather than demanding, it invites you to let go: the soft, wave-like movement gives a deep sense of inner balance.

  • Arrival — Storage, cuffs for legs, abdomen and arms
  • 50 minutes of pressure and release — the whole body in a gentle wave
  • After-effects — a glass of water, a few quiet minutes
Format 03

Presso-massage · Wrap

65–75 minutes · Leg wraps

Compression and care, in perfect harmony. The gradual increase in pressure works in tandem with the leg wraps; the rhythm accompanies the absorption of the active ingredients, for a noticeably light, enveloping sensation in the body.

  • Arrival — the range tailored to your skin type. Five ranges to choose from
  • 40 minutes of pressure application over the bandage — pressure and care in perfect harmony
  • Afterglow — the bandage comes loose, a few quiet minutes

All prices include VAT at the statutory rate.

Good to know

What you should know beforehand.

What does a treatment involve?

You lie comfortably on the treatment table — fully clothed. The cuffs are fitted over your clothing: leg cuffs, and, depending on the treatment, an abdominal belt and arm cuffs as well. The device fills the chambers with air one after the other, starting from the feet and working upwards, and then releases the pressure again — a gentle, wave-like movement that builds up zone by zone. You remain lying down throughout the treatment; the cuffs can be opened at any time.

Is the pressure uncomfortable?

The pressure is moderate and adjustable — we’ll tailor it to your comfort level at the start and adjust it at any time. As many describe it: an enveloping, rhythmic sensation that soothes rather than challenges. If anything feels too firm, just say so — Monica is always on hand to help.

What should I wear for a pressotherapy massage?

You remain fully clothed — unlike with a manual massage, nothing is removed; the cuffs are placed over your clothes. Thin, smooth, stretchy clothing is ideal: leggings or light cotton trousers and a T-shirt. Thick seams, zips, button plackets and jeans are less suitable — they will dig in under the cuffs. Please do not apply any cream or oil to your legs or stomach beforehand, and remove any jewellery from your ankles and wrists. For the combined treatment with an active-ingredient bandage, you will be provided with everything you need at the studio. If you wear medical compression stockings, please discuss the treatment with your doctor in advance.

What should I bear in mind beforehand?

It is best to arrive without having eaten a heavy meal immediately beforehand — this makes the experience more comfortable, particularly for the full-body treatment with an abdominal belt. Please allow a few minutes’ buffer so that the session does not have to start in a rush. Before your first session, we’ll take your details — a short form, as with every session at the studio; whilst doing so, we’ll discuss together which format is most suitable for you. Please clarify any medical issues — pre-existing conditions, medication, pregnancy — with your doctor in advance: we do not carry out medical assessments.

Can I carry on with my day straight afterwards?

Yes — there is no downtime. Many guests feel thirstier afterwards; a glass of water is provided for you. If you can arrange it, a few quiet minutes afterwards make for a more pleasant conclusion — the appointment then feels less like a tick on a list.

How often is it advisable to have a treatment?

A single session is perfectly sufficient as a one-off experience — after a long journey, or before an evening when you want to feel light and relaxed. If the Presso massage becomes part of a regular body care routine, the usual frequency is one to two sessions per week, spaced one to three days apart. We’ll discuss what suits you best — based on your daily routine, not on a set schedule.

Why follow a rhythm — and which form suits me best?

Because a single session remains a moment — and a rhythm turns it into an appointment with yourself: time that is already set aside before everyday life claims it. A rhythm is therefore less a package than a framework: fixed appointments that are marked in the calendar before everyday life overtakes them.

Six sessions mark the start: spread over around six weeks — enough to find a rhythm and see if it suits you. Fifteen sessions form the ongoing programme: lasting a season, with quieter and more intensive phases, as your diary allows. Both can be repeated after a few months — many choose to do so at the change of seasons.

The cycle does not tie you to a fixed schedule: we arrange the dates on an ongoing basis, and sessions can be rescheduled.

What is the difference between this and medical lymphatic drainage?

Presso-massage is a cosmetic treatment — not a medical procedure. Medical lymphatic drainage is a therapeutic treatment carried out exclusively by registered physiotherapists with appropriate additional training and requires a doctor’s prescription. If you have any medical conditions — such as oedema, lymphatic congestion or venous disorders — please consult your doctor.

Can I give the Presso massage as a gift?

Yes. The Presso massage is available as a gift voucher — issued individually, with or without a specific suggested appointment date. Please contact us directly.
