Origo Breathing & Sound · Dimension 04

Back to the source.

You have everything organised — your day, your appointments, your expectations. Origo is the one place where nothing needs to be organised anymore. Just your breath, and the stillness beneath it — that is where we guide you with sound: with tones, and the space between them.

Still undecided? Six questions will help you decide which format is right for you today →

What Origo is

A space where the hustle and bustle of the day cannot penetrate.

Origo is the point where time stands still. In our work, it is the fourth dimension: a quiet space in which breath, perception and stillness merge into a guided journey into the depths. A ritual return to one’s true self.

We combine ancient synergies, such as the art of breathing, with new technologies, such as the findings of neuroscience — and with the ability to achieve states of relaxation and inner resourcefulness: for a life lived in complete harmony or for personal development.

At the studio, we call it ‘Spiramen’: mindful, somatic breathing work. Guided sequences that do not explain what calm feels like, but instead guide you directly into states of deep calm and inner strength.

Here, knowledge is not imparted, but experienced.

  • Presence — the quiet centre amidst a busy day.
  • Your anchor — a breathing ritual of calm constancy that accompanies you wherever you go.
  • Two options — personalised one-to-one support with Monica or round-the-clock access via the Concentus library.
  • Tailor-made — sequences for clarity, deep tranquillity or the stillness of the evening.

Breathing knows no ‘Sie’. From here on, we’ll address you informally.

The noise

The day never stops speaking. Not even when no one is left.

You know the feeling: everything’s done, and yet there’s still that faint hum in the background. Thoughts that are already on your next appointment. An inner tension that can’t be pinned down to a to-do list — because it doesn’t reside in your head, but a little deeper down.

Origo does not work against the noise. It creates a space alongside it — and over time, this space grows. This is not an achievement. It is a permission.

Recognisability

You know the hustle and bustle. The only question is how you find your way back.

  • … You carry a lot with you — and rarely have a place where you don’t have to carry anything.
  • … Silence is no longer a luxury for you, but is becoming a necessity.
  • … You are not looking for yet another method, but for a ritual to which you can return.

That leaves just one question: Which path is right for you today?

The method

Two interlinked elements: breath and sound.

Origo is a dimension of being — a space that emerges to allow you to return to yourself. Breath and sound intertwine to create a space of expansiveness and tranquillity, in which perception and presence are allowed to realign. Not a programme you complete; an experience you enter into.

How a session is organised

Every Origo session begins long before your appointment.

Applies to Imago, Spiramen & Via

Following a personal preliminary consultation, your session is tailored during an individual planning phase: breathing techniques, verbal guidance, visualisations, as well as sound and silence are developed to suit your specific needs.

  1. 01

    The initial consultation

Your focus, your goal, your pace — and the boundaries we respect. Included in the price, and it takes place before your appointment.

  2. 02

    The promise

We do not take on every issue. We decide whether a session is appropriate following this consultation — a conscious decision, agreed upon by both parties. If it is not within our area of expertise, we will let you know and suggest an alternative that is more suitable.

  3. 03

    The composition phase

Once you’ve made your booking, the work begins – work that you won’t see: visualisation · breathing sequences · guided speech · soundscapes · transitions · silence — each element tailored to your specific needs.

Not selected, but composed — specifically for this one appointment.

Only then does the part you’ll experience begin: the preliminary consultation, the session and the follow-up discussion can be found further down under ‘Spiramen’.

Not a standard template — tailored to you.

Before we meet, your session is tailored to your needs. Based on our preliminary discussion, we identify your current focus — and prepare everything specifically for it.

  • The topics we cover — tailored to what you share during the initial consultation.
  • Sounds & sequences, specially composed — the soundscape of your session is created just for you, not off the shelf.
  • The sequence, pace and language — tailored to how you’re feeling on the day and your goals.

Please noteAs your session is tailored specifically to you, we will only begin preparations once we have received your express consent — and we set out what this means in terms of cancellation and credit. You can find the details in our Terms and Conditions.

Voices

Shhh …

We do not collect voices here. What happens in these few minutes remains between breath and silence — Origo cannot be described; it must be experienced. So: listen for yourself.

What begins here stays with you.

Whichever of the four dimensions you choose — your journey continues at home. Concentus, our library, accompanies you between sessions: sound, breath and silence for every hour of the day.

The first step

Imago — the gentlest way in.

Guided visualisation: deep relaxation centred on your chosen theme. Inner images, words and silence guide the process — you need do nothing but be present. No prior knowledge, no practice, no goal you need to achieve.

Via · The Path Through Time

Via — the twelve-week programme.

For anyone who sees breathing not as a single moment, but as a journey. Over twelve weeks, I will guide you — one session a week, tailored to the themes that emerge along the way. We will also discuss the neurobiology of change — why genuine change requires time and repetition.

Start here ifYou would like to work on a particular topic over a period of several weeks — the individual session will count towards this programme.

  • One session per week — at the studio or online, tailored to your current needs.
  • Three wellness audio tracks — created especially for you, to stay with you for a lifetime.
  • Three-month library — free access to the sound library upon completion of the twelve weeks.

Six questions

Which format would you choose today?

Four paths lead into Origo — and they are not equally suitable for every moment. Six questions help you identify what you are looking for today and point to the most obvious starting point. We will discuss everything else in the preliminary consultation.

Question 1 of 6

When you close your eyes — what comes to mind first?

Question 2 of 6

How can you tell if you’re holding on to too much?

Question 3 of 6

How do you prefer to enter?

Question 4 of 6

Which do you find more difficult?

Question 5 of 6

When a voice guides you —

Question 6 of 6

What should remain when you go out again?

This is how the result is determined: each answer falls into one of the four formats. The format you have selected most frequently is indicated; in the event of a tie, your subsequent answer will be decisive. Six questions help us identify your requirements — we will discuss your specific needs, your preferred pace and your background during the preliminary consultation.

What you can expect

During the session — and over time.

A guided sequence — a place where you do not need to be reachable. What begins in the session continues to unfold with regularity — differently for each person.

  1. IYou arrive. The voice guides you; your breathing becomes longer and calmer.
  2. IIThe inner noise recedes into the background — you don’t need to make it go away.
  3. IIIA sense of spaciousness and presence — right where you are at this very moment.
  4. IVAt the end: a lingering sense of tranquillity. You carry it with you throughout the day.
ClarityThe inner noise grows fainter — and your mind feels clearer.
Online presenceMore of what matters to you — in conversations, in moments that count.
SerenityTension can be released, even when the day remains hectic.
DepthThe breath becomes longer, calmer — a sense of expansiveness.
SilenceQuieter evenings, when the day truly draws to a close.
ConsistencyA ritual that stands the test of time — rather than a fleeting moment.
After your session

A session does not end at the door.

Give your experiences time — and treat yourself to these few things. They cost nothing and make the difference between a lovely afternoon and one that stays with you.

TranquillityDo not schedule any appointments afterwards. The rest of the day may remain free.
WaterDrink more than usual — before and after your session.
Minimal visual elementsMinimal screen time, minimal noise. The evening may be quiet.
SleepMake sure the following nights are not too short. What needs to fall into place will do so in peace.

In the follow-up discussion, we listen to what resonates — and tailor your next step accordingly.

Frequently Asked Questions

What you’ll want to know beforehand.

Book an appointment
What happens during an Origo session?

First comes the personal preliminary consultation: your concerns, your goal, your pace. Your session is then tailored during the planning phase. On the day of your appointment, you’ll experience guided breathing exercises, sound and silence — followed by a brief debriefing.

How long does a session last?

Spiramen lasts 90 minutes. The preliminary consultation takes place beforehand and is included in the price; the follow-up consultation takes place afterwards.

Is there an extra charge for the initial consultation?

No. It is included in the price of your session and takes place before your appointment — at the studio, by telephone or online.

Can I take part online?

Yes. Spiramen and Via are available at the Marienstraße studio and online. For online sessions, you’ll need a quiet room, headphones and a stable internet connection.

What is Spiramen?

The personalised one-to-one session: guided breathing exercises, relaxation techniques and self-hypnosis, tailored to your specific needs. 90 minutes, €210.

What is Concentus?

The Sound Library: recorded sessions, available at any time — no preliminary consultation required, just immediate access. A different approach for people who wish to start at their own pace.

Do I need any experience with breathing exercises?

No. The session is tailored to your pace, and you’ll be guided through everything as you go. Anyone who has never practised conscious breathing before is just as welcome as an experienced practitioner.

How do I prepare?

Please arrive as rested as possible and in comfortable clothing that does not restrict breathing. Avoid large meals two hours beforehand; no alcohol and minimal caffeine on the day itself. Further details can be found under ‘Transparency & Preparation’.

How often is it advisable to have a session?

We clarify this during the initial consultation. Some people come for a single session, whilst others work on a particular issue over a period of weeks — that’s what ‘Via’, the twelve-week programme, is for.

Is Origo a therapy?

No. Origo is a cosmetic experience designed to enhance awareness and relaxation. It is not a medical or therapeutic service and is not a substitute for a medical consultation.

Are all enquiries accepted?

No. Every enquiry is assessed personally in advance: your physical and personal circumstances, as well as your specific concern, must be suitable for the method. If they are not, we will let you know and suggest an alternative that is more appropriate. Full details can be found under ‘Transparency & Preparation’.

When is ‘Origo’ not appropriate?

In the case of certain health conditions — such as cardiovascular disease, epilepsy, pregnancy or acute psychological stress — we ask that you seek medical advice beforehand. You can find an overview under ‘Safety & Breathing’.

Safety & Suitability

When caution is advised.

Origo is a profound sensory experience. Your safety is our priority — which is why we always assess your suitability during a personal preliminary consultation before a ritual begins.

  • A quiet place is all you need — whether sitting or lying down, you may close your eyes. Follow your own rhythm; take a break whenever you like.
  • Please do not use whilst driving or whilst carrying out activities that require your full attention.
  • Origo is not necessarily suitable for those with high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, epilepsy, during pregnancy, or whilst undergoing treatment for acute psychological distress.
  • We will discuss these points together during the initial consultation — and if in doubt, please consult your doctor beforehand.
